Description
Isn't she beautiful? She was giving me "the" look. There were two young calves in the pasture with two females. Very protective to say the least.
She has big floppy ears and a big hump on the back which are unique characteristics of the Brahman Cow. Don't forget the layers of sagging skin under the neck and down the chest. They are red, grey and spotted in color. They are found all over south Texas. The origin of the American Brahman Cow goes back to India's Bos indices bulls that were brought into the southern United States in late 1800's.
