Sometimes, we miss what is right before our eyes. I am one of the worst. I can get so wrapped up in thought that I forget to look at what is right in front of me. Recently, while visiting my mother in Louisiana, I took my afternoon walk. I thought to myself that there was nothing to catch my interest. The second day, I saw things differently as I noticed items and plants that set just inside the fences and gates of homes. I decided to start a collect of photos called: Beyond the Garden Gate.
