The duck stayed under water so long that I just had to get a couple of pictures. Can ducks drown? I thought perhaps he put his head in a hole and got stuck. To my relief, he finally popped up; only to flip bottom side up again. I decided that he had no idea what was going on with his mate, family of ducks or me with his head in the water for so long. I was reminded how we can tune out our family, kids, parents, etc. I got a phone call from a long time friend who has a daughter in California. We talked about how our children start their own lives and we rarely hear from them. Out of sight; out of mind. This would make a wonderful card to let your friends or family know that you miss hearing from them. Or, a print for your home or office. How many times do we use that phrase on our spouse. Sometimes in fun or jest, other times more seriously. Just sayin...I can't hear you...but I would love to hear that you purchased this image in the form of a print or greeting card.
