Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Henley wrote this poem in 1875. It was published in 1888 and is one of the most popular English poems. Henley was 12 years old when he was diagnosed with tubular arthritis. He lived in constant pain. He lost his left leg as a young man and wore a wooden leg. He was a friend of Robert Louis Stevenson. Stevenson used Henley as the character "Long John Silver". Henley had a life filled with physical pain. After the surgery that removed his leg, he underwent a new "alternative treatment" that saved his right let. This is a poem about a life of pain, fear and unknowing. Facing his fears of death and the unknown of the disease, he wrote this poem of the courage he found within himself.
