While sitting in our swing on the back porch, I relaxingly finished a soft drink. Just as I was leaving, this couple caught my attention. I went into and out of the house 3 times trying to get set for the shot. I finally got into position and took the shot...no card in the camera. Surely they would not remain after another trip in and out of the house. Here I am again! I was so surprised that they seemed perfectly content to spend their mid-day siesta on this branch. Yeah, got it.

Well worth the effort to get this shot Ella. I looked at it and the first thing that popped into my head was the 12 days of Christmas song - Two Turtle Doves, Three French Hens and a Partridge in a Pear Tree. Not sure if they are Turtle Doves, but that's what it made me think. Lovely shot!
