Windmill and the Big Blue Sky

This windmill photograph was taken just outside of Gonzales, Texas. We spotted the windmill while traveling back home to south Texas. The blue sky and white clouds were gorgeous in the mid-morning light. This is a working windmill. It is used to pull ground water and fill the pond located nearby. The pond is the source of water for the ranchers horses and cows.
