Hot Pink - Flowering Heart Leaf Succulent photography by Ella.
This plant caught my eye as I was walking through the nursery. I purchased it 3 years ago and I now have two containers flowing over with this gorgeous plant. I was told at the nursery that they called it Ice Princess. It seemed to be such a beautiful and appropriate name. I have since learned the official name: Aptenia Cordifolia variegata. Also called: Heart Leaf Ice Plant.
What ever you want to call the plant, it is beautiful. Loves the sun and is drought and heat tolerant. The extra reward from this succulent is the lovely flowers that grace the the vines.
