I had three vertical canvases. I enjoy painting wildlife and decided that these canvases were perfect to feature animals with long necks. First was the Hot Pink Flamingo. Second the Ostrich with Attitude. Every time I painted one, I had a new favorite.
Introducing: Ostrich - Colorful Whimsical Art - 216.
Bright, vivid color along with with bolder strokes for the feathers. Take a look at the attitude in that face. I think the Ostrich is pondering why other birds with feather can fly and it can not.
