Description
Ostrich Portrait photography by Ella
This close-up was taken, with the help of my grandson, at the zoo in Victoria, Texas. My grandson picks up large leaves and the two ostriches would grab the leaves from his hand and then following him along the fence line. I was able to get this clear shot when he and the ostrich came to the bridge crossing that I was standing on. No fencing to contend with. I enhanced the background and border of this image.
Thank you for viewing my artwork: photography and paintings.
This artwork is available as a single print, framed print, canvas art, acrylic print, metal print and 5x7 greeting card(s).
God bless you.

V Excellant! You have to be careful around these birds. I had one plick an earring off my ear while I was standing near it. I think it was attacted to the shinny gold on my ear. Fortunately he did not eat it and dropped it near the fence where my husband was able to retrive it while I kept the bird busy eating fresh grass that I pulled from outside of the fence. Guess the saying the the grass is greener on the other side of the fence also means it tastes better too.
