Almost three years since we have had a dog. We were so heart broken when our long time companion died. It was difficult to think of another four legged friend that could replace the joy that she brought to us.
Out of the blue, we went to the Dorothy O'Connor Pet Adoption Center. It is a no-kill adoption facility. This little one stole my husband's heart. The pup is a mixed terrier and dalmatian. A sweet six month old baby.
It is always extra special to give a lost and forgotten animal a loving home.
