The white buffalo has a sacred legendary meaning. To Native Americans, the Bison or American Buffalo was a symbol of sacred life and abundance. A native American legend created and describes the importance and symbolism.
For me, I always favor large mammals. I marvel at their movements, confidence, protective behaviors. I was thrilled when I heard of an open range ranch that was the home of buffalo: brown and white. I was a cold rainy day but my adrenaline keep me clicking that camera button. So much fun.
