Description
Coleus leaf. It is most appealing for its beautiful colored leaves. There are many varieties of Coleus (Lamiaceae). Wonderful as porch plants. They also like to be planted in the soil. The coleus that I plant in the soil grow tall and full. The plants colorful leaves draw attention to your garden. In our south Texas area, the plants have put on flowers at full maturity of the plant. I am one of those people that loves plants and flowers, but I am unable to have hearty potted plants. So, in the soil they go.
