Duck Dynasty is a photograph of two white ducks that live in a lake near our home. These two are the "real deal" duck dynasty. Pun intended. These two have been together for a very long time. They are called Pekin ducks. White or cream in color, they were introduced to America by China in 1873. The ducks which were used for meat and eggs entered the US at Long Island, New York. Duck feathers are completely waterproof. Their web feet have no nerves or blood vessels. Therefore, we don't have to worry about them in the freezing water or ice. Ella Kaye
